In December 2007 the station had to make a public apology after former Chelsea player David Speedie, who was a guest on the Big Match Countdown show, kept punctuating his analysis with swear words. With the programme screened pre-watershed at 6 pm, it led to presenter Neil Barnett having to make repeated apologies.
