The Maryland-Rutgers rivalry is an annual football game between the University of Maryland and Rutgers University. Between 1920 and 2009, both schools played in separate conferences. During the 2010-14 Big Ten Conference realignment, both schools joined the Big Ten Conference.
Reports in July 2016 indicate that both schools are looking to add a traveling trophy for the game.
